- Combat Style and Companion: The Zephyr combines rapid crossbow marksmanship with tactical aerial support provided by an avian familiar companion named Nephele.
- Lore and Starting Requirements: Hailing from the cold mountain ranges of Ilsabard in northeastern Eorzea, the job features heavy fur-lined equipment tailored for frozen climates. Players can unlock the job’s starting quest in Gridania at level 90.
- Evolved Combat System Integration: Alongside the previously revealed Bastion tank job, the Zephyr is built specifically to operate within the new Evolved Combat Mode system debuting in the 8.0 cycle.
