Independent developer IndirectShine and global indie publisher Astrolabe Games have officially announced that dark fantasy deckbuilder HARMA will launch in Early Access for PC via Steam on November 17, 2026. Blending retro pixel art with a grim narrative campaign and strategic card battles, the game supports both solo play and online cooperative multiplayer for up to four players. The Early Access debut will include a four-act story campaign, over 300 cards and artifacts, and an endlessly replayable battle mode alongside long-term content roadmap plans.

What Is the Story and Campaign Premise of HARMA?
Set in the tragic realm of Eden, the story opens as returning royal knights suddenly turn their weapons against their own people, burning the kingdom to ash.
- The Central Mystery: Players embark on a dark journey to uncover why the realm’s sworn protectors committed genocide, while searching for clues surrounding their father’s sudden disappearance.
- Four-Act Campaign: The narrative story unfolds across four distinct acts filled with branching dialogue paths, dynamic combat encounters, and pixel animated cutscenes.
- Grim Fantasy Atmosphere: The narrative emphasizes loss, betrayal, and high-stakes survival as you rally against demonic forces overrunning the fallen land.
How Does the Artifact Combat and Card System Work?
HARMA differentiates itself from standard card battlers through a dynamic risk and reward artifact mechanic that shapes every hand played.
- Artifact Activation: Card power in battle is calculated dynamically based on the random activation of three equipped artifacts.
- Focus Override Mechanic: Players can spend Focus points to forcefully trigger specific artifact activations, taking direct control over random odds during crucial turns.
- Deck Building Diversity: With two distinct playable character archetypes and over 300 unique cards and artifacts at launch, players can experiment with dozens of playstyles.
- Dimensional Rift Mode: For players looking for pure tactical gameplay without story cutscenes, the Dimensional Rift mode provides endless combat challenges with scaling difficulty.
Strategy fans can add the game to their wishlist directly on Steam or follow @AstrolabeGames on X for full roadmap updates on launch day.
