In a wide-ranging conversation with Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, Miyamoto reflected on the remarkable eight-to-nine-year market run of the original Nintendo Switch. He emphasized that player interest has shifted toward game libraries, unique interfaces, and creative play styles rather than processor horsepower.
