Halloween: The Game Unveils Free Tower Farm Map and New Michael Myers DLC Skins
Halloween: The Game drops its first post-launch update on October 27, 2026! Discover the free Tower Farm map, new Michael Myers skins, and new Civilians.
Co-publishers IllFonic and Gun Interactive, alongside partners Trancas International Films and Further Front, have officially announced the first major post-launch content update for their asymmetrical horror title, Halloween: The Game. Launching across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on October 27, 2026, the expansion introduces the free Tower Farm map set on the rural outskirts of Haddonfield.
The update also features premium downloadable content, including iconic Michael Myers killer skins from Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers and the acclaimed Halloween (2018) reboot, two new playable Civilian characters, and a holiday costume pack.
What Is Included in the New Free Tower Farm Map?
Inspired by the pivotal agricultural locations from 1989’s Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers, the Tower Farm map introduces an open-air battleground located on the rural borders of Haddonfield. Available free of charge to all game owners, the map balances wide-open fields with autumn-themed hiding spots:
- Illuminated Fuel Station: Positioned directly in the center of the map, the gas station serves as an anchor landmark to help Civilians orient themselves while coordinating escape objectives.
- Autumnal Atmosphere: The map captures a seasonal aesthetic illuminated by late-afternoon sunlight, featuring a harvest festival, a caravan trailer park, and pumpkin gardens.
- Open Terrain Risk: Wide country roads and sparse central cover turn transit zones into dangerous territory. Civilians must rely on roadside ditches and tall cornfields to break line-of-sight from Michael Myers.
According to IllFonic Creative Director Jared Gerritzen, the map expands the franchise’s horror scope:
“1978 was just the beginning. With the Tower Farm map, we took the terror of this first event in Haddonfield to a completely open place, where there is nowhere to hide except in the darkness, where Michael Myers truly comes to life.”
Which New Michael Myers Skins and Civilian DLC Packs Are Coming?
Alongside the free map release, players can expand their customization options through cosmetic DLC packs:
- Halloween 5 Michael Myers Skin: Recreates the distinctive look of The Shape as he appeared in the 1989 film.
- Halloween 2018 Michael Myers Skin: Modeled after Blumhouse’s modern trilogy, featuring a weathered mask supervised by Oscar-winning special effects artist and mask sculptor Christopher Nelson (Halloween 2018, Halloween Kills, Halloween Ends).
- Civilian Character Pack: Introduces two new playable survivors joining the Civilian roster.
- Halloween Costume Pack: Adds thematic autumn outfits across the entire roster of Civilian characters for additional customization.
The October 27 patch marks the official start of Year 1 post-launch support for Halloween: The Game, with IllFonic promising additional seasonal updates, character packs, and balance improvements throughout late 2026 and 2027.
